MIRAGE ILLUSION calls out deceptive paths that might appear to lead to the way to life, but are ultimately shortcuts that lead to consequences and destruction. Just as the Israelites longed for false comforts in the wilderness, we might often find ourselves following illusions that promise fulfillment but leave us empty. COME REST - When we confront our issues honestly, we often face discouragement at how messy, and long the process is to overcome them. Yes this is important, AND there’s also Grace. In the midst of our weakest moments, shame and insecurity can cloud our vision like fog in the forest. God invites us, right there in the middle of it, to pause and rest in His peace, reminding us He has already fought and won these battles for us. Here is where we release control, release our burdens, and allow God’s healing to take place in us.
